The Merritt Crown Race:

In 2017, the inaugural Merritt Crown Race made its mark on the mountain biking scene, quickly becoming a crown jewel in our community.
Covering a challenging 120 kilometers, riders embarked on a thrilling journey through the best trails Merritt has to offer. With a formidable 3000 meters of elevation gain and a 12-hour time limit, this race is not for the faint of heart. What started as a local event has now evolved into a nationally recognized race, drawing participants from across Canada to test their mettle against Merritt's majestic trails.
Over the years, the Merritt Crown Race has grown steadily, and we are proud to say that, in its seventh year, the event now boasts over 120 riders. This incredible turnout is a testament to the enduring appeal of the race and the strong sense of community that surrounds it. The Merritt Crown Race is not just a race; it's a celebration of the spirit of mountain biking.
