Terms and Conditions for Merritt Mountain Bike Association (MMBA)

By accessing the Merritt Mountain Bike Association (MMBA) website, engaging with our services, or participating in MMBA activities, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:

Membership: Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals who support the goals and objectives of MMBA. Minors must obtain parental or legal guardian consent.


Membership Dues: Members may be required to pay annual dues. Failure to pay dues may result in the suspension of membership benefits.

Code of Conduct: Responsible Riding: All members are expected to adhere to responsible and ethical riding practices, respecting other riders and the environment.

Compliance with Laws: Members must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while participating in MMBA events or using MMBA facilities.

Intellectual Property: Ownership: MMBA retains all rights, title, and interest in its intellectual property, including but not limited to logos, trademarks, and website content. Use of Materials: Members may not use MMBA's intellectual property without prior written consent.

Liability Waiver: Assumption of Risk: Participation in mountain biking activities involves inherent risks. Members assume all risks associated with participation.

Release of Liability: Members release MMBA from any liability for injury, damage, or loss arising from participation in MMBA activities.

Privacy Policy: Personal Information: Members' personal information will be handled according to MMBA's Privacy Policy.

Communication: By becoming a member, you consent to receiving communications from MMBA. Termination of Membership: Grounds for Termination: MMBA reserves the right to terminate a member's membership for violating these terms, engaging in misconduct, or for any other reason deemed appropriate.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, the member loses access to membership benefits. Modifications to Terms: MMBA reserves the right to update and modify these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of BC, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in BC.
